    Welcome Back from the Headteacher

5 September 2025 (by Stephanie Kavanagh (StephanieHead))

    Dear Parents and Carers,

I just wanted to say how thrilled I am to have joined Holy Trinity as the new Headteacher. It’s been such a lovely first week and I’ve already been made to feel really welcome by staff, families, and all of your wonderful children.

The children have settled back into school brilliantly! They’ve been polite, friendly and full of enthusiasm. It’s been a joy getting to know them, and I can already tell what a special place Holy Trinity is.

As we start the new school year, my focus is on making sure every child feels happy, safe, and excited to learn. I want school to be a place where they can be curious, build confidence, and grow in every possible way.

Over the next few weeks, I’m really looking forward to meeting more of you. I’ll be out on the playground most mornings and afternoons, so please do come and say hello, I’d love to put faces to names.

I’d also like to invite you to our Macmillan Coffee Morning on Friday 26th September at 9:05am, in the school hall. The children will be baking cakes in class beforehand to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support, and there’ll be plenty of treats on sale plus free tea and coffee for all parents and carers. It’s a great chance to support a brilliant cause, have a cuppa, and have a chat with me if you’ve got any questions (or just fancy some cake!). Just to note, the children won’t be attending the coffee morning, but they’ll definitely be proud of their baking efforts!

Thanks again for such a warm welcome. I’m so excited about the year ahead and can’t wait to get to know you all.

    Best wishes,
    Stephanie Kavanagh
    Headteacher
